Family Parenting Place
Family Parenting Place (FPP) invites families with children aged 0-6 to a range of fun, enriching, educational activities. The goals and objectives of FPP are:
The programs are funded through the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Fraser Health, and the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Community Action Plan for Children (CAPC) and their Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) along with other community grants as they become available.
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
8:45am-12:15pm (2:30pm on Friday)
An indoor/outdoor play-based program for caregivers with children 0-6 years. Come and join us for age-appropriate toys, activities, crafts, snacks, stories and fun. Snacks are served at 10:00am Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays, and lunch is served on Friday’s at 11:30am.
It Takes a Village Family Dinner
Mondays at 5:00pm-6:30pm
On Monday evenings families come together to share a meal, play, and grow a community of support. If a family has a child who is aged 0-6 the whole family is welcome to attend, eat and play together. Pre-registration is required.
Tuesday at 10:00am-1:00pm
If you are pregnant or have a new baby under 6 months old, we meet in person, once per week, to learn and support one another. Topics cover pre and postnatal health, nutrition and parenting. Childcare and lunch are provided.

The Positive Parenting Program is for parents of children aged 0-6 who are looking to grow their parenting skills. An accredited facilitator leads a discussion on topics identified by the participants. Topics are of a practical nature addressing typical parenting concerns. Childcare and snacks are provided.
Ongoing Children’s Clothing Exchange
Available during the Family Parenting Place Office Hours 8:30am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
This free, ongoing program is available to any community member who has need. We accept donations and distribute clean, gently used, children’s clothing sized 0-6T, children’s books, toys, baby items (excluding car seats and furniture), diapers, wipes, infant/ toddler formula and maternity clothing. No appointment necessary.
