Family Parenting Place (FPP) invites families with young children to a range of activities. We are funded through the Health Canada Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) Initiative and Canada Prenatal and Nutrition Program (CPNP) - Public Health Agency of Canada, the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Fraser Health and United Way.

We are located at 7272 Morrow Road, Agassiz

The goals and objectives of FPP are:

  • To coordinate programs for young children that meet community needs.
  • To advocate for, develop and provide a comprehensive range of social, education, preventative and health programs that enhance and enrich the well being of children 0-6 years of age.
  • To promote the health and development of families, thereby enriching our communities.
  • To teach nutritional skills including baking, cooking on a budget, canning and preparing baby food

It Takes a Village Meal Program

Better Beginnings - CPNP funded 
Tuesday 10:00 am- 11:30 pm
Preregistration required
Is a weekly group giving education and information to women during pregnancy and the first six months after giving birth.

 

Triple P Parenting (Positive Parenting Program) – funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development and Fraser Health
Call for upcoming program dates.
For parents with children under 5 yrs of age, an accredited facilitator leads a discussion on topics identified by the participants. Topics are of a practical nature addressing typical parenting concerns. Childcare, snacks, and transportation assistance are provided and there is no charge for the program.
