The Thrift Store is our local "social enterprise". This facility emphasizes our attitude to assist local community members with a source of reasonably priced items. REUSE-RECYCLE-RENEW is the mantra of our Thrift Store volunteers who donate their time working for Agassiz-Harrison Community Services.

Make a small positive change! We accept donations of clean, gently used clothing and provide eco-friendly options for recycling useful household items that you no longer need. Purchasing items at the Thrift Store helps people in our community by providing necessary funding to sustain and continue programs at Agassiz-Harrison Community Services. Items in good condition may be accepted.

We CANNOT accept the following items:

Soiled, damaged, incomplete or unsafe items.
Appliances - TVs
Automotive parts
BBQs - Propane tanks
Carpets - Underlay
Car Seats - Cribs
Computers - Printers
Encyclopedias
Excerise Machines
Fireplaces
Flammable Liquids - Paints - Oils
Furniture of any kind
Mattresses- Box Spring - Hide-A-bed
Magazines over 2 years old
Microwaves
Organs - Pianos
Photocopiers - Fax Machines
Skis - Ski Boots - Poles
Stuffed Plush Toys
Swing Sets - Trampolines
Used Building Supplies

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 11:00am- 3:00pm
Donation drop-off by appointment only. Please call 604-796-9932 to book a drop-off time.

Please do not abandon your donations, after receiving is closed. We regret that there are times we are unable to accept donations. This is due to extreme high volume of donations and/or shortage of volunteer staff.
